Analytics Tool

Introduction

iLangL Cloud functionality allows it to store all the export and import transactions between a website and translation environment, which is kind of not bad already, isn’t it? However, the only way a client could see their localization history would be transaction log. But that was then and this is now.

Our state-of-art Analytics Tool (AT) opens a new dimension of translations analysis:
  • keep track of your translations;
  • navigate content and transactions easily;
  • use AT for issue analysis.

AT becomes a game changer in the quality of iLangL services.

You can filter transactions by full text search, content ID, type, language, etc. As managers you are welcome to use AT if you have any queries or hesitations. Should you need any further assistance, please feel free to reach out to us and we’ll be glad to steer you in the right direction.

While regular investigation is not always straightforward and usually requires extensive time and effort, AT is a magic wand for localization manager, project manager and iLangL team that:
  • cuts down the investigation and response time;
  • allows for fast and efficient issue handling;
  • improves the quality of communication between iLangL and managers;
  • expedites and deepens the search (exhaustive filters, clear layout of search results).

From now on you can forget about time-consuming analysis as well as multi-channel communication in attempt to find the root of an issue. Both localization and project manager now get a chance to work smarter, not harder!

Apart from that, Analytics Tool helps us improve the quality of service calibration. We no longer need to dig into tons of data manually in order to find the necessary pieces of puzzle.

With AT the content analysis is seamless and takes just a few clicks and a couple of seconds. It helps our support to provide you with clear screenshots and detailed explanation of export/import operations.

Below you’ll find our use cases that highlight the benefits of Analytics Tool for both localization and project manager.

For Localization Manager

Are you a localization manager responsible for successful localization of multilingual international website? Have you already automated your localization process by means of website connector but eager to get more benefits out of it?

Although content connector itself makes the whole process more automated for you, you are still not able to track the data flow on demand, which is quite a drawback. Wait a minute! Just relax. Keep calm and use Analytics tool. With AT you gain full information over anything that happened, is or will be happening during your website localization.

Analytics Tool supports full text search for all versions of the processed content:
  • find all pages and properties by key words;
  • compare processed content versions;
  • search by properties and review properties by type;
  • find your SEO properties and manage them by language.

The search is so deep and multi-layered that once you choose a specific property, you’ll get the info about all the pages containing it. You will also be able to review all content values from the property in one place.

It’s not only about search though. You’ll be able to compare all versions of the ordered master content and evaluate how the quality of your content has been improving.

Now that you have access to the entire history of your website translation, you can always find what exactly was translated and when. Do you want to check how master content’s changed since the last translation order or if language versions require translation synchronization? Just add any phrase from the page and all your questions will be answered in the blink of an eye.

For Project Manager

Analytics Tool provides both you and your client with full transparency of localization flow. You can review the entire picture and life cycle of the localizable content circulating between client website and your translation environment. What, when, why and how questions that may be raised by either you or your client will no longer remain without quick and precise answers.

You can always compare the current website version with any exported version to see what was changed and when. You’ll be also able to see if the change has been done before or after the content export. If you are responsible for translation, you’ll be able to compare the up-to-date content on the client’s website with the latest export to decide whether anything should be exported on top of that. Even if the changes of master content are minor and do not impact on localization, our Analytics Tool will easily identify them and display the difference. In addition, it will be highlighted for your convenience. Green highlight represents the added text, while red highlight - the removed one.

Analytics Tool provides a wide range of analysis features. It is not limited to export transactions only - you’ll be able to compare and analyze all the imported content for all target languages as well. With AT you can:

  • see who applied changes to the delivered version (e.g. you or the customer);
  • provide customer with accurate feedback or solution based on the analysis;
  • track any related language version by master version;
  • identify all the locations of a text fragment provided by customer;
  • check all the export and import details related to the fragment (including the list of delivered target languages).

Sometimes clients send a page URL to help you identify a translation request. Unfortunately, URL itself is not enough to find the exact piece of content in the website background. This is when Analytics Tool comes into play. Provided that this content has been exported before, AT will help you locate it by full text search for any supported language.

Apart from that, you’ll be also able to preview the exported file before the actual export. What’s more important, our Cloud can memorize the previously exported content to avoid duplicates. With Analytics Tool you can compare your website content with the “Change tracking feature” on our side to identify if there is anything applicable for export. It will help you explain the customer why particular content was exported even though “nothing was changed on the website.

All in all, the power of Analytics Tool gives you access to all the translation history as well as the possibility to review any content version involved in the translation lifecycle.
