With Adobe Experience Manager gaining its popularity among international companies, the problem of boosting the localization workflow has become crucial. Our AEM connector facilitates the process a lot. But we have also prepared a brand-new Integration Service that syncs AEM Translation Projects directly to memoQ. How’s that possible? Keep reading!
If you are using Adobe Experience Manager, you probably know that AEM provides the ability to create projects, which let you group resources into one entity. This is a great feature overall, but what if you are working on your website localization and using memoQ as a translation tool?
Copying projects from Adobe Experience Manager to memoQ might become a daunting job to say nothing about human errors that might occur. As a localization manager, you strive for getting your client the high-quality translation they need within the shortest possible timeframes. And copying projects from one system to another might seem a waste of precious time.
iLangL Team has developed a new product to simplify the workflow for localization managers. Our new AEM Integration Service automatically synchronizes the projects created in AEM to memoQ and sends the translated files once jobs are completed back to AEM.
Within several minutes after you create a project in AEM, AEM Integration Service creates a project and jobs in memoQ. No more manual efforts needed!
When installing AEM Integration Service, you can decide which AEM projects will be transferred to memoQ. For now, there are two parameters that send a signal to our system on whether to copy a project to memoQ or not:
Copying projects from AEM to memoQ is only half the deal. We took care of sending the files back too. After the jobs in memoQ are marked as completed, the files are sent back to Adobe Experience Manager.
The client can accept or reject the translated content. If the translation is rejected, our system will notify the users about it. Project or Localization managers will be able to promptly react.
In AEM Integration Service settings, you can define the users who should be notified about certain events, such as:
The good news is that you don’t have to choose between our AEM Connector and the Integration Service. Both of them serve their own purposes.
AEM connector is the best choice to translate huge batches of content while AEM Integration Service should be the preference for small recurring projects.
If a client is going to release a new website and needs it to be quickly localized, our advice is to use our AEM connector. You would just need to tick the entire content tree in iLangL Cloud, specify the settings and send all the content for translation. Also, you’ll get the reports of each transaction and have a chance to track the progress of the project.
In case most part of the website is already localized and you need to perform several small projects on regular basis, AEM Integration Service will help you handle it. You won’t need to log in iLangL Cloud and choose the content for translation. Just create a project in AEM and iLangL will copy it to memoQ. Sounds easy, isn’t it? It is!
Whatever you choose, you should know that we’ll always provide you the high-quality service and support you at all steps of your localization project.
